On this page are some miscellaneous paintings, prints, etc., that the Ugly Otter (and his Beautiful Wife) find from time-to-time.  Some of these are original oil (or acrylic), some are gleece on canvas, some are prints.  We will try to specify in each description which is which.

A few are acrylic paint on native sandstone, painted by Navajo Artists.  They represent religious ceremonies performed by the Navajo Indians.  It is said that they paint these while tending a flock of sheep way out in the wilds.

 On one print, the story is lost - sorry about that.  This collection was obtained from a large collector's estate sale in Tucson, and we have no history on these.  They are all framed and matted.

#U97-56024, Navajo Sand Painting, is 16"x 16"  by Navajo Sand Painter "Deraldson Dez", it is signed and it is made out of natural sand and sandstone, we came across this sand painting and on the back it's dated when it was made, June 6th, 1989. It's in great condition.  The back explains what is happening in the sand painting. This is a beauty!  $360
