Editorial: Most of these Old Pawn Pins and/or Pendants, especially the round or oval ones with multiple turquoise stones, have been made, and worn by the Navajos for decades. Most well dressed Navajo ladies wear these near the neckline when they get dressed up to go to town, to ceremonies, or for some other special occasion. Many of these designs are very old, and, they are still making them today. Therefore, it is difficult, if not impossible to determine the age of an individual piece. The value is determined by the workmanship, the detail, and the artist's popularity, if known.
